This course is delivered and assessed on behalf of RTO 90666 - Royal Life Saving Society of Australia (New South Wales Branch)
All training that is delivered by The First Aid Training Guy is contextualized in the scenarios component and is specifically designed for the individual client. A Booking Form is sent which has a series of questions to allow The First Aid Training Guy to plan, design and prepare the right course for you and your participants.

With client bookings, the courses are run onsite or locations organised by the client. The space needed will depend on the number of students in your course and the course you choose.

All practical assessments will be conducted on the floor. Floor space should be approx. 1x2m2 per student with no obstructions that cannot be moved i.e. boardroom table or exercise equipment.

If it is a First Aid Presentation delivered by the First Aid Training Guy, we will contact you regarding room setup.
The practical assessments are set by ASQA and must be completed in order to receive your accredited First Aid or CPR Certificate.
These assessments consist of but are not limited to: CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Bleeds, Pressure Bandage Immobilisation and Slings.
The booking client can choose from a list of First Aid topics that suits their outcomes of the presentation. The First Aid Topics List is sent as part of the First Aid Booking Form.

As The First Aid Training Guy I pride myself on contextualizing the relevant course to the client’s needs and outcomes. This way each participant will be more engaged with the course and can relate to what is being taught.

Asthma Scenario's:
  • A customer is cycling and starts to have shallow and difficulty breathing, they collapse over the bike as they are very fatigued. On approach you see they are conscious and breathing
  • After a strenuous workout, the Group PT notices that one of their participants is not looking well, they start complaining of difficulty breathing and they have blue lips and are consistently coughing.
