  • We have a waiting area with chairs if you arrive early. We have water cooler and a variety of snacks onsite to keep you refreshed while you wait or complete your training session.
  • There is a small amount of outdoor parking on site.
  • There are 25 stairs to get to the Training Centre as we are located on the first floor.
  • We are a 10 minute walk to Westfield Hurstville
All the equipment needed for your course such as limbs for major bleeds, physio tables for sports trainer, mini first aid kits for first aid, CPR manikins (infant, child, adult sizes) and Oxygen equipment.

We pride ourselves in making sure you get the most hands-on practice and experience you can. Practical's are completed in either pairs or a maximum of 4 people for our advanced courses. This way you can assist each other and get plenty of rotations to elevate your skills.

Yes. All CPR training both nationally recognised and non-accredited have the Defib component.

NEW Training Centre Opening Soon in Hurstville 2220
Local Government Areas; Randwick Council, Bayside Council, Waverly Council, City of Sydney, Georges River, Sutherland Shire, Burwood and Canterbury and Bankstown.
On occasion, travel to regional locations of New South Wales will be visited to provide education to communities whom might not have access to first aid training. Please contact The First Aid Training Guy if you would like training delivered and are not in the above LGA’s.

First Aid Qualification = 4 - 5 hours online & 3 hours face-to-face
CPR Qualification = 1.5 hours online & 1 hour face-to-face
Presentations = minimum 2 hours

All training that is delivered by The First Aid Training Guy is contextualized in the scenarios component and is specifically designed for the individual client. A Booking Form is sent which has a series of questions to allow The First Aid Training Guy to plan, design and prepare the right course for you and your participants.

With client bookings, the courses are run onsite or locations organised by the client. The space needed will depend on the number of students in your course and the course you choose.

All practical assessments will be conducted on the floor. Floor space should be approx. 1x2m2 per student with no obstructions that cannot be moved i.e. boardroom table or exercise equipment.

If it is a First Aid Presentation delivered by the First Aid Training Guy, we will contact you regarding room setup.
The practical assessments are set by ASQA and must be completed in order to receive your accredited First Aid or CPR Certificate.
These assessments consist of but are not limited to: CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Bleeds, Pressure Bandage Immobilisation and Slings.
The booking client can choose from a list of First Aid topics that suits their outcomes of the presentation. The First Aid Topics List is sent as part of the First Aid Booking Form.

As The First Aid Training Guy I pride myself on contextualizing the relevant course to the client’s needs and outcomes. This way each participant will be more engaged with the course and can relate to what is being taught.
